It is not enough that a piano will accurately reproduce the notes of the written music. It must breathe into the playing the soul of the artist-it must respond to the mood of the operator. It must be capable of all the modulations which answer to the call of the master pianist. This was the lofty goal set in the development of the Starr-made pianos-its attainment was assured before the first instruments were offered to the public.
